Gżira United, the only unbeaten team this season, lock horns with Mosta who are coming from six consecutive defeats.

Mosta are now under the charge of coach Mark Miller who has replaced Italian Enrico Piccioni. This will be Miller’s second game at the helm of Mosta after starting his reign with a 3-0 defeat against Birkirkara.

Meanwhile Alessio De Cerchio returns from suspension for Mosta.

The Maroons will be without the injured Amadou Samb and Haruna Zambuk Garba who is suspended. Juan Carlos Corbalan is also suspended for Gżira after being shown his fourth yellow card in the 1-0 victory over Floriana.

Matchday 12 ends with the game between, two teams from the south, Hibernians and bottom club Senglea Athletic.

While the Paolites are coming from seven wins in a row, the Cottonera club lost six of their last seven games.

An interesting fact is that if Hibernians emerge as winners on Sunday, they will eclipse Valletta’s best sequence of seven consecutive wins this season.

The two teams have one player suspended – Nemanja Radojevic, of Hibernians, and Imanol Senglea’s Gonzalez Benac who both picked up the fourth yellow card in their teams’ last outings.

Ferdinando Salvati and Tcanturia Romani return for Senglea while Bjorn Kristensen is back in the equation for the Paolites.
