With these drivers Vince Farrugia on his Volkswagen Polo, the Vauxhall Nova of Andrew Pisani and Joseph Spiteri on his Opel Corsa also qualified for the Final A race.

From the Start of this Final Class A for Modified cars all drivers raced abreast right to the First corner. From among the cars bunch Grech managed to take the helm of this Final while being followed close by Farrugia and Pisani.

After the first two Laps Pisani lost his placing for Zammit following Zammit taking the Joker Lap before Pisani did. In the meantime Grech continued to hold his leading placing ahead of Farrugia and Zammit.

Following this Pisani finished driving slowly because of a damaged front wheel while Micallef too was forced to retire completely from the race because of mechanical problems too.
