LA SALLE CLAIM WOMEN'S DIVISION ONE

La Salle claimed the Women’s Division after comfortably winning the game against Swieqi Phoenix with 28-14 on Sunday.

Led by Coach Daniel Tabone, the La Salle fought wholeheartedly during the last match of the league to claim the coveted title.

“Well done to our ladies who just won the Women's First Division for the third time in a row after beating Swieqi Phoenix. People come and people go but some things never change!! Keep the trophies coming!!” La Salle wrote in celebration on their official Facebook page.

Aloysians placed second followed by Swieqi Phoenix in third postition.

In the Men’s First Division, Aloysians are leading the scoreboards with 19 points, followed by Swieqi Phoenix in the second place with the same points but an inferior goal average. The men’s league is still undecided with La Salle close in third place.

Meanwhile, Kavallieri have worked their way to the top of the Men’s Second Division scoreboards, followed by Team ETE. La Salle and Swieqi Phoenix stand in third and forth place respectively.

The knockout games for both Men and Women Handball will commence in May.
