GOZO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP 2018

Gozo Motocross Association organised the semi-finals of the Gozo Motocross Championship 2018 at Ta’ Xhajma Motocross track on Sunday.

During the ompetitions, all riders worked hard to keep their place as the championship is slowly but steadily coming to an end. In Class A Steve Xuereb achieved maximum points as he came first in all the three heats while David Dimech followed in second place.

Joseph Bigeni did well and came in third, followed closely by Robert Spiteri Xuereb is at the top of the classification.

Class B was just as exciting. Jorn Stellini and Nataniel Camilleri came in first and second respectively while Glenn Vella entered third. Maltese competitor Louis Debono came in fourth. This class is led by Nataniel Camilleri.

In Class C, Anthony Fenech, moved down to second place following Matthew Spiteri who did well on his YZF 250cc and won first place. Jonathan Grange came in third. Fenech is leading this class with the largest amount of points.

The youths who rode their motorised bikes enjoyed another short session at the track. 1st place was won by Isaac Bartolo once again. Andrea Axiaq won second place followed by Chris Tyler Mizzi.

All winners were awarded trophies and medals for the day’s hard work.
Gozo Motocross Association announces that the Finals of the Yamaha Gozo Motocross Championship 2018 will take place late May.
