LA SALLE MOVE LEVEL WITH SWIEQI

La Salle joins Swieqi Phoenix at the top of the Men’s 1st Division after beating Luxol HC 34-17 this weekend.

Besides, the two teams, La Salle and Swieqi Phoenix, will go head-to-head next week.

Aloysians lose two precious points after a fast-paced encounter with Kavallieri HC ended in a draw of 28-28. Kavallier’s keeper Daniel Gauci was named Player of the Match.

In the Women's Division, a duel at the top of the league saw reigning champions La Salle winning three vital points from Aloysians, after a breath-taking game ended in La Salle’s favour with 17-19

Meanwhile Aloysians’ captain Brenda Mamo was named Player of the Match.

Both La Salle and Aloysians stand at the top with equal points, however Aloysians currently retain a better goal average.

Meanwhile, Swieqi Phoenix remain comfortably in the third after winning against Birkirkara HC.

Team ETE are still in command of the Men’s Second Division league, with Kavallieri and La Salle are chasing in second and third respectively.
