ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL BMX SUMMER EDITION

Between the 8-10 of July the Malta BMX Association organized another successful BMX Fest at the BMX Track in Pembroke, as various BMX Competitions took place including Scooter competition for the second time in Malta.

The competition winners were as follows:

During BMX Fest, the Malta BMX Association also closed the racing season and the results of the season were as follows:

At the end of the competitions, John Zammit and Karl Naja, President and Secretary of the Malta BMX Association together with Joe Muscat from Jump Street and Aki Kechagias from Riot Boutique presented trophies and other prizes to all winners.

The president of the BMX Association Malta John Zammit expressed his satisfaction after the competition for the several children and youths approaching to practice this sport where both indoor and outdoor facilities are constantly improving which now are of international standard.

In fact BMX Malta has been for the past 30 years promoting and enhances the sport and this is mostly thanks to the hard work carried out and still carrying out by the President and Founder John Zammit.

Thanks also to his work the same John Zammit recently gained both local and international awards which in March 2016 had been honored with the Merit Award by the European Cycling Union (UEC) and last February he won the People's Choice Award at the SportMalta Awards-Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali.
