Assoċjazzjoni Sport Muturi u Karozzi will continue its motorsport events of the ASMK 2015/2016 championships this Saturday.

During this activity the National Motocross Championship will be concluded while the National Championships for Autocross cars will be competing in the next last two races.

On the day the Motocross races events starts at 4: 30pm. Follow these the car racing starts at around 7: 30 pm and will continue until late at night.

Meanwhile a look at the rankings of the Autocross Modified class in the National category we find that Christian Mark Galea on a Fiat Ritmo continues to dominate despite that in his last event he finished in third place overall.

Galea still enjoys a substantial lead and the chance of winning another Class A Championship with his 206 points with two more races to go. Galea is followed by Malcolm Borg on an Opel Corsa in second place with 150 points while third place Joseph Micallef on another Opel Corsa has 116 points.

In this classification it is still completely uncertain who the second and third place drivers will be as with Borg and Micallef we find that Gordon Johnson on an Opel Corsa and Josef Abela on a Nova still stand a very good chance to advance further in the classification during these last two remaining events.

In the Autocross Standard Category Deane Farrugia on Citroen AX continues to strive to acquire another championship honor.

Farrugia is heading in the standings with 54 points and during the two following activities he is expected to continue the battle for the lead with his followers who currently are Traydon Bailey on a Ford Ka with 42 points and the Citroen AX of Ian Fenech with 41 points.

In this classification there is also a chance that Johann Vella from Gozo will continue to advance up the poits scale on his Opel Nova who currently lies in fourth place with 30 points.

In Autocross Class A Category Christian Mark Galea on his Fiat Ritmo attained the ranking of Class Leader and is currently in a position that nobody can beat him.

Galea has 62 points and is followed by Malcolm Borg with 26 points and Gordon Johnson with 25 points. Both dtivers race on Opel Corsa cars.

Yet the scene for the second and third places in the standings is insecure as there is a chance for Philip Joe Vella to enter the scene again on Opel Corsa who currently has 24 points. Josef Grech on a Fiesta currently has 22 points.

In Autocross Class B category Joseph Micallef on Opel Corsa is 62 points is already declared as the class winner. He tops the points scale in this category with such a substantial advantage that it is not likely that any of his followers can exceed it.

Following Micallef’sposition is a battle for second place between Jonathan Camilleri on his Opel Corsa who is currently in second place with 33 points and Josef Abela on an Opel Nova with 21 points.

In Motocross Motorcycles Class category it is already decided who is the Class winner is yet it is to be decided who the National Motocross Championship (Class A) winner is to be.

This is yet still open between brothers Kyle and Clayton Camilleri both riding on a KTM’s and the Champion will be declared during next Saturday’s last events.

Clayton is currently up front with 258 points and is followed by his younger brother Kyle with 241 pointS. Currently in third place we find Paul Muscat also on a KTM with 144 points.
