HITT FOR ISTRINA – 30 HOUR TABLE TENNIS MARATHON

During these days of the year, many organisations reunite together to gather as much funds as possible for L-Istrina and the Malta Community Chest Fund that helps those people who are in need. As done in past, HiTT Academy has again enrolled in doing its best to aid L-Istrina and MCCF.

The fundraising activity will take the form of a 30 hour table tennis Marathon, at St. Albert the Great College, Valletta on the 12th and 13th December 2015.

The Academy premises will not only be open to HiTT members but it will also be open to the general public, so that everyone can join in for this noble cause.

During this 30 hour Marathon various activities will be organised for different age groups and fun is surely guaranteed. There will be various competitions including HiTT Club Competition, Table Tennis’ Best Competition, Parent & Player Teams, Ping Pong Competition and Fun Games for the very young. An Old Boy’s tournament will be organised, so ex-players are being invited to participate. This tournament will be held on Saturday at 19.00.

For all these different competitions, HiTT Academy will supply everyone with everything needed, from rackets to the organisation of the event.

For those who have never had the chance to grab a racket and play, this is the time, as there will be a special private coaching session and assessment by the HiTT coach Mario Genovese himself on Saturday evening.

So one has to merely book the preferred time and day and HiTT Academy will prepare the rest.

Finally, the public is urged to take part in this righteous cause by booking a slot for the marathon tables and take part in the above mentioned table tennis competitions. All details related to this event can be found on the HiTT website www.hittmalta.com.
