TWO BMX RIDERS IN NETHERLANDS

Last weekend two riders from the Malta BMX association travelled to Eindhoven in Holland for the second edition of the BRAAB BMX contest at the 040 BMX Park.

The contest was hosted by Daniel Wedemeijer, one of the six pro riders that attended Malta BMX’s International BMX competition last December.

The competition had BMX riders from all over the world, competing in both amateur and Pro categories.

Malta BMX riders Karl Naja and Kurt Oliva both entered the Amateur category where at total of 49 riders where competing.

Karl Naja managed to get to the finals after qualifications, where the last 16 riders would compete for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Karl managed to get to the top 10 in the finals, which was won by Jules Van Gijsel from Belgium.

Although Karl and Kurt did not get to the top three spots, this experience was very beneficial for their first experience in an International Competition.
