White Hart Laferla Insurance 1-3 Rabat

The game was deadlocked in midfield after White Hart Insurance spurned two early chances.

In the 13th minute Rabat were awarded a penalty stroke but Matthew Buhagiar pushed wide from the spot.

Two minutes later Buhagiar made amends when he pushed home from close range to send Rabat 1 – 0 up. They went further ahead when in the 26th minute Shawn Falzon netted from a penalty corner action, the half time whistle blowing with Rabat enjoying a 2 – 0 lead.

The tempo in the second half increased appreciably and in the 46th minute White Hart pulled one back when Carl Tua scored after advancing into the D down the right flank.

White Hart then threw caution to the wind and left their rear guard open to Rabat’s counter attacks, and after a couple of easy chances went a begging,

Falzon grabbed his second and Rabat’s third goal from a penalty corner action giving them a 3 -1 victory.
