Successful training camp by Lukáš Kroc & Martina Fartágová

Intensive training sessions, led by their coaches Edmond Abela, Patrick Cassar, Aldo Polidano and George Camilleri, have been the order of the day for the past few months, and have reached their peak during a Training Camp held locally by Czech International Coaches Lukáš Kroc & Martina Fartágová.

With the help of the Kunsill Malti ghal-iSport’s-Youth Development Scheme, Lukáš and Martina visited Malta for the second consecutive year, providing the Badminton Junior Academy with a week of some intensive badminton.

By involving the Academy Coaches, Lukáš and Martina could provide some individual attention to the players with regards to technique and footwork.

Some fun games involving co-ordination and team work were also included in some of the sessions.

Lukáš and Martina highly praised the work being done with these youngsters, as the improvement since last year was clearly visible. It shows that hard work was done during this past year.

Their recommendations are to increase and intensify training sessions, and that some of these players should soon start venturing the European Junior Circuit.

Badminton Malta expressed its gratitude to coaches, Lukáš and Martina, as well as all the local coaches, and Kunsill Malti ghal-iSport, for the continuous support it provides the Association with.
