One cannot exclude the other teams, like DINGLI DESANA with whom Marsa suffered the only defeat or by WARDIJA who was also one of teams that could topple the leaders.

But this two remaining clubs, Dingli and Wardija lost points beween themselves and Marsa continued and in the end they deserved to be champions.

The success was due to the determination and dedication of the players themselves and the coach, who never give up and keep fighting till the end. One must mention all the players, also the reserves.

The success is also a credit to the committee members who work hard for the team and since they affiliated with the Masters association they were always focusing on winning honours.

Melita that they were in the final was already a success, the second time they reached a final in one of the competitions. Though they suffered a heavy deeat they still kept challenging and showing great sportsmanship.

MARSA from the beginning showed their intensions and they went for the break leading 5-0. They also dominated the second half, and Melita suffered a lot trying to stop them.

It was only in the last three minutes that they scored their three goals. Alexander Ribic was in good form, scoring three goals, and it officialy received that Ribic was chosen the Player of the Month for April.

In both semi finals, decision was staken after penalty taking, and it showed that teams from the first divison could aso give a hard time to teams superior in the Premie League.
