HIBS RETURN TO WINNING WAYS
Hibernians returned to winning ways beating Birkirkara 1-0 on Saturday.
The reigning champions matcu winner came seven minutes after the break when they were given a penalty from which Clayton Failla made no mistake. Meanwhile both teams finished the game with ten man when first on 64 minutes Hibernians defender Rui Fernando Da Gracia Gomes and then nine minutes later Birkirkara’s Jaques Varone Lucas Maia received the marching orders after both collected their second yellow card of the evening. Earlier Mosta beat Senglea Athletic 2-1, while St. Andrews and Lija Athletic played out a 1-1 draw.
