MARSA AND VALLETTA KEEP MARCING ON

Marsa White Stars Barilla and Valetta St. Pauli keep marching on both winning their fourth consecutive game.

Besides, the two teams are highly being considered to win honours this season in their respective division.

Marsa White Stars are the team of the moment, not only winning, but also giving excellent performances, under the watchful eye of the experienced Fabio Gauci.

They play entertaining football having high quality players such as Gilbert Scerri, one of great talent. His play was rewarded by being chosen the Player of the Month for September, scoring a good number of goals. However Marsa is a team showimg collective football, having more players of high quality.

WARDIJA for sure were a great disappointment, suffering such a heavy defeat. Their play was poor, although one must mention that in the first half they were denied on several occasions by the good goal keeping of George Edwards.

In the second half, they lost all concentration and could not keep out Marsa from scoring, leaving a great space in defence,

CISK MASTERS DIVISION ONE LEAGUE

Valletta St. Pauli are the team to beat, getting maximum points from winning four consecutive games.

They beat TAL-QROQQ 4-1 in a low scoring encounter with Valleta finding some difficulties to beat the resistance of the Tal-Qroqq defender, giving little space to Valletta players to manouver. Valletta who had Gilbert Agius and Aldrin Muscat missing, were leading 2-0 going for the break.

In the second half after Tal-Qroqq reduced the margin, Valetta dominated the last fifteen minutes, scoring another two goals to make sure of the thre points. The only goal of the losing side was scored by Jeffrey Fenech, the player of the match.
