SAMB HITS HAT-TRICK TO CRUSH SPARTANS

Amadou Samb destroyed Hamrun Spartans with a hat-trick to help Gzira United to a convincing 4-0 win and also restore their three-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

The Senegal centre-forward goals came after the break with the first on 65 minutes, while his second five minutes later when the Maroons were awarded a penalty from which he made no mistake.

On 78 minutes Samb wrapped up his hat-trick when for the second time in the game his side was given another penalty. Again he made no mistake.

Three minutes into time added on the premier league leaders increased their lead once again when Emmanuel Ndubuisi Okoye grabbed his side’s fourth.
