HIBS BACK TO WINNING WAYS

Hibernians returned to winning ways beating Senglea Athletic 1-0, while Tarxien Rainbows registered their second victory in a a row defeating Naxxar Lions 2-1 on Friday.

Hibernians match winner came in the first half when after 13 minutes into the match Dunstan Vella beat the Athletic’s custodian.

Meanwhile the Rainbows opener arrived on 32 minutes courtesy of a Ricardinho Faria’s strike, with the second after the break when on 65 minutes Ricardinho Faria beat the Lions’ goalkeeper.

Eight minutes later Naxxar pulled one when they were given a penalty from which Scott Fenwick made no mistake.
