HIBS, FLORIANA PLAY OUT DRAW AS BIRKIRKARA CLAIM FIRST WIN

Hibernians and Floriana played out a 1-1 draw, while also in another match Birkrikara beat ten-man Mosta 2-0.

Floriana broke the deadlock on 40 minutes when Enzo Ruiz headed past goalkeeper Andrew Hogg from a Steve Pisani’s corner.

After the break on 73 minutes the reigning champions leveled the matters when Marco Sahanek hard drive beat goalkeeper Ini Etim Akpan.

Meanwhile Birkirkara’s two goals came after the break when on 74 minutes were given a penalty from which Ernest Webnje Nfor made no mistake, while 11 minutes later double the score courtesy of substitute Matthew Guillaumier.

On 88 minutes the Blues finsihed with ten man when Kurt Magro was shown his second yellow card and so was sent off.
