BALZAN BACK ON TOP

Balzan Youths moved back at the top of the Premier League after a 2-0 win over Floriana on Sunday.

Balzan forged ahead after 11 minutes into the match when Elkin Serrano Valero beat the Greens goalkeeper Matthew Grech.

On 33 minutes the Youths doubled their lead courtesy of Brazilian midfielder Anderson Francisco de Barros.

In Sunday's other match Birkirkara moved fourth courtesy of a 3-0 victory over Hamrun Spartans.

The Stripes goals came through Gonzalo Malan on 36 minutes, Christian Bubalovic after the break on 61 minutes, while Srdjan Dimitrov grabbed the third on 89 minutes.
