DORTMUND TO ANNOUNCE WITSEL SIGNING

Borussia Dortmund are close to finalising the transfer of Axel Witself from Tianjin Quanjian, according to Bild.

BVB CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke and sporting director Michael Zorc did not join travel with the team to their Switzerland training camp in order to wrap up the deal.

It is believed that the Bundesliga side will pay off Witsel's €20 million (£18m/$23m) release clause, finish up the finer details and announce the signing in the coming days.
