JOSHUA: I HAVE TO BE A KILLER AGAINST KLITSCHKO
The pair took part in a media conference on Thursday as the build up to their April 29 fight at Wembley continues.
The niceties shared between the pair since the fight's announcement in December have been hailed as a welcome break from the usual posturing typically reserved for pre-fight media commitments.
Both Joshua and Klitschko talked tough about the fight without trading personal insults, and the Briton knows a passive approach is not an option.
"Come the night I have to be a killer," said Joshua.
"If you are not a killer in this game, you get eaten alive. It's about listening to people instead of thinking everyone is your enemy, about bowing to the crowd and shaking hands with your opponent and then being able to throw the switch when the bell rings. [It is] about respect for each other and those around you."
