JOSHUA: I WILL MAKE MOLINA LOOK LIKE A NOVICE

Reigning IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua says he will make Eric Molina "look like a novice" in their title fight in Manchester on Saturday.

Former Olympic gold medallist Joshua, who has won all 17 of his previous professional bouts by knockout, will defend the IBF belt for the second time this weekend when he faces Molina.

The American was stopped in a WBC heavyweight title fight against Deontay Wilder in June 2015, and Joshua anticipates a similar outcome this time around.

"Training has gone well, hard, but well. I'm getting more experience so understand the importance of training hard. I'm physically in the best shape I could be," he told a pre-fight media conference.

"Of course he has to train so I'm not worried what he is doing. I'm glad he is healthy, God willing I manage to do my job and crush him.

"It is a breaking down job, everyone is sharp in rounds one, two, three, but it is about being clever. Later on in the rounds I will start breaking him down.

"We are bringing currency back to heavyweight boxing, and respect back to the division and everyone wants a piece of it.

"Training is not about preparing for Eric, it is only going to get tougher so we train as if we are preparing for five fights' time. I will make him look like a novice."

Joshua's final comment riled Molina, who hit back by assuring the champion he will seek to expose any weakness he sees.

He said: "You have to do that. If you slip up one second you'll be dancing and the world will be talking."
